Hello and Happy October Everyone! 🍁
It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to make a blog post, but I’ve got some fun updates and reminders to share with you all, so let’s get right into it:
Many of you may already know this, but I am very lucky to volunteer with Schlitz Audubon’s Raptor Program year-round, where I get to help care for 15 incredible birds of prey.
We have our big yearly festival coming up on Saturday, November 4th called Xtreme Raptor Day where you can learn all about the birds and their species, and there will be lots of bird-related activities for the whole family! There is also a gift certificate for a Signature Facial available through the auction for the event - this will be available online the week leading up to the event, so even if you’re not able to make it that Saturday, you are still able to participate in the auction. All of the proceeds help with the general care of the birds, and it’s a program that I love being able to be a part of, so if you’re interested, check it out!
Since I will be helping out on Xtreme Raptor Day, I will not be in the studio or responding to messages that Saturday. But, I am also taking off the week after that event to reset and prep for the holiday season. I will be out of the studio and not responding to messages from Saturday, November 4th through Sunday, November 12th. I will still keep my online storefront open for retail purchases during that week, but just know that you would not be getting your products until Monday the 13th at the earliest!
I know, I know - just me mentioning the holiday season already sounds crazy. But I do see most of my clients only 1-2 times a month, which means there’s only so many more times I’ll see you before the end of the year. 🫣
So, this is the moment when I step on my soapbox and mention that now’s the best time to start booking out your appointments through the end of the year - especially if your schedule limits the days or times that work best for you to come in. I’ll be reminding you in person, but I am booking through the end of the year online as well if you would like to book sooner than your next appointment.
