Hello and Happy June!
I hope you all have been enjoying the warmer weather. Thank you for being patient with this blog post, I’ve been busy! 😊 The very first thing I wanted to mention is that if you have any events (vacations, weddings, etc.) planned for the summer that you would like services done around, I would highly recommend booking them ASAP - especially if it is a longer service time or if you need a particular time and/or day!
Or even if you just like making sure that you have your regular appointments booked out, I would make sure that you have them booked through August to get your preferred dates - there’s already not many Saturday appointments available in August! 😱 (thank you!)
If you’ve talked to me about skincare, you probably already know just how important sunscreen is, no matter your age, skin tone or skin care concern. And unfortunately, sunscreen in any makeup isn’t something that you should be counting, since you would need to apply a very large amount of makeup in order for the sunscreen to be enough coverage - it’s best to apply your sunscreen under your makeup day-to-day.
And with summer here, don’t forget that if you’re actively outside or in the sun in any way, you’ll need to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours in order for it to be truly effective at protecting your skin against cancer-causing rays! ☀️
